Biography final piece...

I've designed all my property cards and have made some illustration for the utilities and for my 'drug cards' which are usually the train stations in the original Monopoly game.

I also decided to use one of my Escobar drawings to make the back of these cards and chose to call my game 'Cartelopoly' to represent the Medellin Cartel.
I also designed some Colombian Pesos for my monopoly money.

For my board, I knew that I wanted to keep it fairly similar to Monopoly in design but change around the colours and the visuals. I started with a simple beige background colour and followed the same colour scheme for my properties that I used on the property cards.

I played around with different Photoshop brushes to create some sort of visual background for the center of my game. I thought the blood looked a bit too gory and out of place so I decided to use a silhouette of a splatter of blood instead.

Initially, I couldn't decide what colour background to use for my game. I tried to see how the classic green would look but didn't think it worked very well usually so I settled for a lighter beige colour to keep things simple. I think it also matched the colour scheme of the properties quite well.
I added in my own drawings from the cards and also drew out and scanned a few more for my Monopoly spaces.

& this is the final product :D
